All orders are billed in US dollar currency.


We accept all major credit cards, international checks and money orders, PayPal™, and bank wire transfers.

Orders paid by checks, money orders, or bank wire transfer, should be paid within 14 days of order date.


Your total purchase includes the objects in your basket, packing and shipping, and applicable sales tax. This does not include your country’s duties and taxes, if applicable.


  • • Orders are usually shipped within 24 hours via UPS™.
  • • We ship from Monday through Thursday.
  • • Orders submitted from Friday to Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
  • • Objects which need special packaging may be slightly delayed. We will contact you if this is the case.

Flexible Time Payments

Medusa is more than happy to offer flexible time payments. Our most common plan is as follows:


  • • 25% of the total purchase price for the first payment followed by 5 equal payments of 15% every month.
  • • We will send you an email notice 7 days before payment is due every month.
  • • The title remains with Medusa until payment is made in full.
  • • You may cancel your order at any time. Upon cancellation, we will refund the purchase price minus a 15% restocking fee.

Reservations

As an added service to our customers, you may place up to three objects on layaway. This gives you time to discuss and review your objects with your art agent, museum curator, a friend, or your spouse.


  • • The option to reserve objects is for a period not exceeding 5 days
  • • Reserving an item protects the object from purchase and reservation by another party.
  • • This feature does NOT prevent users from viewing the item.

Refunds

We are dedicated both to the satisfaction of our customers and to the authenticity of our ancient art.


  • If you decide the object is not to your liking, we will provide a full refund within 10 days of purchase and an exchange within 30 days of purchase. Clients are responsible for all shipping fees.
  • If an object is deemed a forgery by an acknowledged expert in the field, we will refund the price in full provided you have written documentation from the expert. We will be responsible for all shipping fees.
  • All claims must be accompanied with proof of purchase.

Clearance

The clearance items listed in our online catalog are priced at or below cost for immediate liquidation. All sales are final . Objects in this section are generally below our fixed price gallery minimum or overstock merchandise. All objects are unconditionally guaranteed ancient, and as described, and include a lifetime money back guarantee.

Q: May I put these images or text unaltered on a file server in my school or museum?

A: Yes, if there's no charge for the user(s) and if electronic distribution is of limited term to your school or museum only. The images must remain unaltered. All the accompanying text information in the associated HTML file and in this Rules file must be included, and must be presented completely and unchanged.


Q: May I put these on my BBS? What if I charge a subscription fee?

A: No.


Q: May I put these on a CD-ROM, public domain or otherwise?

A: No.


Q: May I print some of the pages out for a school report?

A: Yes, assuming this is personal or academic work, and you have no intention of publishing it. This electronic source of the text and images should be cited as would any printed work; the citation should include the URL, http://www.medusa-art.com. This type of use is encouraged; all other uses are specifically prohibited without permission.


Q: How do I obtain permission to use the files in a publication, commercially, on a CD-ROM, BBS, etc.?

A: Anyone wishing to use any of these files or images for commercial use, publication, or for any purpose other than personal fair use, must first request and receive prior written permission from Medusa-Art.com.
